UCen Post Office

The UCen Post Office is conveniently located on the lower level of the University Center. Here you can send and receive United States Postal Service packages and mail only. Special COVID-19 Service Update

The following are updates to the UCen Post Office & Santa Catalina Package Room schedules & services available during the UCSB campus closure
during Spring Quarter '20:

  • UCen Post Office Customer Service window is open for US Postal Service transactions M-F, 9:00am - 4:00pm. Closed weekends.
  • Outbound US Mail may be dropped at the UCen Post Office until 3:15pm M-F and will be dispatched the same day (other US Mail Drop Boxes at UCSB are listed further down on the UCen Post website)
  • UCen PO Boxes are accessible through the University Center, Lower Level, South Entrance - see sign for guidance (Lagoon side) M-F, 7:30am - 5:00pm. Closed weekends. 
  • Packages for students in on-campus housing during Spring Quarter '20 are available at the Santa Catalina North Tower ONLY , Room #1435, M-F 11:00am - 4:00pm. Closed weekends.
  • Be sure your permanent address is current/updated on GOLD at least two weeks before the end of Spring Quarter '20 to be sure your US Mail is forwarded to you permanent address.
  • On-line purchases should be directed to your permanent address upto  7-10 days remaining in Spring Quarter '20.  Packages received after the last day of Spring Quarter will be Returned to Sender (RTS).  Packages from home should cease around this same timeframe.

The UCen Post Office offers the products and services of the United States Postal Service ONLY. 
Other package carriers, such as FedEx, UPS, and On-Trac, provide direct service to UCSB Campus residence halls.

There are no FedEx or UPS services at the UCen Post Office.
If you have questions about a delivery or service provided by another carrier, please contact them directly with your Tracking number.

General Information

Zip Codes Matter
The UCen Post Office Zip Code is 93107. Please use this for mail coming to a UCen PO box.
Incoming packages to residence halls from other carriers are delivered directly and must use zip code 93106.
Incoming packages to Santa Catalina, San Joaquin, or Sierra Madre, from carriers other than the USPS, must use zip code 93117
